SAKA is the national body focused on developing, promoting, and governing kickboxing in South Africa. We support athletes, coaches, officials, and clubs through recognised structures, fair competition, and alignment with international standards.

01.What is SAKA?
SAKA is the South African Kickboxing Association. We promote and manage kickboxing in South Africa through organised structures, recognised rules, and national objectives for the sport.
02.Which kickboxing styles fall under SAKA?
SAKA’s mission includes Point Fighting, Light Contact, Kick Light, Full Contact, Low Kick, Musical Forms, Weapons, and K1 Style.
03.How is SAKA governed?
SAKA follows a democratic managerial process and operates under a constitution. Its executive is elected every four years at the SA National Championships.
04.Is SAKA linked to WAKO?
Yes. SAKA states that it is guided by the SAKA Constitution and the constitution of WAKO, the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations.
